Monday 10th,

10:00 hrs.: Departure from Sheraton Hotel.- A visit to the city is a journey through the historic, commercial and residential suburbs. Visit the courtyards of the Government, the Main Post Office, and The Town Hall. Then we will continue through the main street of the city, Forest Park and San Cristobal hill. Also to the bohemian neigbourhood Bellavista, continuing by the modern commercial and residential areas, sectors that reach the slopes of the Andes. New neighbourhood such as Santa Maria de Manquehue, Vitacura, and Las Condes, that are mixed with segments of modern architecture as the neighbourhood El Golf and El Bosque (The World Trade Centre).

13:30 hrs.: Return to Sheraton Hotel

20:30 hrs.: Opening Coctel at Sheraton Hotel.


 

Tuesday 11th,

9:00 hrs.: Departure from Sheraton Hotel, across the Valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca (route 68). After one and half hour driving through the Valleys we will reach Reñaca, a famous beach resort, stop at the Seawolf colony and continue to Viña del Mar also an important summer resort and its beautiful gardens. The Clock of Flowers is its symbol as well as the International Song Festival in February every year.- A few minutes from Viña del Mar is Valparaiso Port, we will visit the viewpoints located in some of the 43 hills surrounding the bay and its curious “elevators”. The historical downtown of Valparaiso was named Heritage of the Humanity, its architecture gives it a strong personality and enhances their appeal.- Lunch at Cafe Turri, excellent location at Concepcion Hill, a magnificent view of the Port, seafood at its best, also a place dedicated to the arts and culture.- Back to Santiago from Valparaiso with a last visit to the Chilean Congress Building.

9:00 hrs.: Departure from Sheraton Hotel, transfer to one of Chile’s oldest vineyard, with over 130 years of existence.- Santa Carolina Vineyard opens its doors to invite us to know their wine tradition, through a tour of its patronal house, park and wine cellars.- Declared historic monument, the subterranean cellars built in brick and stones, outstands by its architecture of crossworks and cannons, without a dounbt a time travel to enjoy and learn about the fascinating world of Chilean wine. The tour includes wine tasting, visit to a cozy shop, where you can find all the vineyard’s wines beside handcrafts, accessories or simply relax with a god glass of wine.- After, the tour continues towards the pre – mountain range part of the city to visit the Los Dominico’s Village, time to walk and see the workshops where the artisans elaborate and sell all kinds of handcrafts.

13:00 hrs.: Return to Sheraton Hotel.

20:30 hrs.: Gala Dinner (place to define).
